Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when payments made to AuthorityTech LLC (“AuthorityTech,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may qualify for a refund. This policy applies to all services and payments processed through authoritytech.io and any related applications.


By submitting payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.


1. General Refund Rule

Except as outlined in Section 2 (90-Day Guarantee), all payments are final and non-refundable.
This includes:

  • PR retainers

  • Placement fees

  • Strategy and advisory services

  • Add-ons and optional services

  • Subscription or platform fees

Client delays, changes of direction, team changes, or loss of interest do not qualify for a refund.


2. 90-Day Delivery Guarantee (Escrow)

AuthorityTech offers a 90-day guarantee for clients who submit a qualifying project with approved content and materials.

If AuthorityTech does not deliver the agreed placement or deliverable stated in your SOW within 90 days, and the delay is not caused by client-side issues (e.g., missing materials, delayed approvals, violations of editorial guidelines), you are eligible for one of the following:


Option A — Full Refund of Escrow Payment

Your escrowed payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.


Option B — Placement Replacement

AuthorityTech will secure a replacement placement of equal or greater value at no additional cost.

Clients may choose the option that best fits their needs.


Requirements to qualify

To be eligible for the 90-day guarantee:

  • Payment must have been made into escrow.

  • All required materials must be submitted within 7 days of onboarding.

  • The client must respond to requested approvals within 5 business days.

  • The client must not violate editorial, ethical, or compliance guidelines.

AuthorityTech may pause the 90-day timeline if the client delays required inputs.


3. Billing Errors

Legitimate billing errors (e.g., duplicate charges or accidental overpayments) will be refunded after investigation.

We will review within 5–7 business days.


4. No Chargebacks

AuthorityTech is a B2B professional-services provider.
Accordingly:

  • Payments are not eligible for consumer protection rules such as “product not received.”

  • Filing a chargeback before contacting AuthorityTech is considered fraud and breach of contract.

  • AuthorityTech will dispute all chargebacks using the SOW, activity logs, IP logs, timestamps, and communication records.

  • Services may be suspended immediately if a chargeback is filed.

AuthorityTech must be contacted directly before initiating any external dispute.


5. Non-Guarantee Situations (No Refunds)

Refunds do not apply if:

  • The client delays materials, approvals, or required feedback

  • The client violates editorial policies or ethical guidelines

  • Market conditions impact publication timelines

  • The client changes strategy mid-campaign

  • A publisher requests revisions or adjustments

  • The client declines a valid placement opportunity

  • The SOW does not include a guaranteed deliverable

These outcomes are part of the normal PR process and do not qualify for a refund.


6. Refund Process (When Approved)

If a refund is approved under the 90-Day Guarantee or Billing Error sections:

  • Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days

  • AuthorityTech is not responsible for additional processing delays by banks or payment processors


7. Changes to This Policy

AuthorityTech may update this Refund Policy as needed.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
